Krabi is located about 800 kms from Bangkok and is one of the oldest provinces in Thailand. The province spreads into the Andaman Sea and covers an area of over 4500 kms2. Seen as one of the most beautiful regions of Thailand, Krabi offers a wide array of natural attractions from numerous tropical islands, white sand beaches & vibrant coral reefs to towering limestone cliffs and thick tropical forests.

This largely unspoiled region is home to one national park and two marine national parks and is an extremely fertile region of Thailand with much of the land given over for rubber trees, palms, coconuts, cashew nuts and coffee. All of these things help to restrict the level of development and help to preserve this idyllic region.

The area of Klong Muang Beach, the home of Phulay Heights, currently offers several five star hotels including the Sheraton, Sofitel Resort and Tubkaek Resort and all featuring a fine range of restaurants and cafes. There are a number of independent restaurants as well as some cafes and bars. The range of small shops available offer goods for the tourist market. In the nearby tourist resort area of Ao Nang are a wider range of bars, restaurants and shops.

For guides on the wide range of activities in Krabi visit the activities section of the website.

Internationally Krabi airport has regular flights from Singapore with Tiger air and a number of charter flights from Europe. A new company called Krabi airlines is currently establishing themselves and will offer flights from Oslo and Munich before expanding its operations to Australia, the US and Japan.
